Emma & Prince Review

Emma & Prince

Check them out in the link above ๐Ÿ™‚

Emma & Prince sent me there monthly subscription box to review.

First, when I went to get the box from our mail box I honestly could smell the wax melts and it smelt so good.

I’ve tried most of the stuff except for the teething necklace because I don’t have a teething baby anymore.

I loved the mask, it left my face feeling so fresh and clean. I’m so glad that it came with more than 1 as well.

The make up remover wipes are some of the best wipes I’ve tried as well. They smell so good and so smooth on my skin.

I can honestly say I’d recommend this box to my friends, everything that came in definitely pampered me.

6 Ways to unwind after a stressful day

So for those of you who did not know, I have two toddlers. Noah who is 3 years old almost 4 in September and Lydia who turned 2 in January. Obviously having toddlers isn’t always easy and smooth. Noah is a like they say a “threenager” and Lydia well she’s a girl and very dramatic. I love being a stay at home mom but lets just say I do have my days where I need to unwind. Today I am sharing my 6 ways to unwind after a stressful and long day.

  1. Shower/Bath ADD676A2-F072-47A4-851F-6C73160A0CDEThis one is pretty obvious if my kids have been extra crazy that day, I’ll put them to bed and immediately hit the shower put some music on and clear my mind. Every mother out there needs some time alone even if it’s a couple of minutes in the shower.

  2. Eat a SnackAD1C2063-C1F6-4C49-B7CD-0752662C3695

All of you mommy’s know that having kids you can’t have the guilty pleasure “snack” in front of your kids because they’ll just eat it. So saving it until they’re in bed is the key. For me my guilty pleasure lately is cookies and milk or I’ve even been hooked to Hot Cheetos. I know not the healthiest choice. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

  3. Make a list6EE75B6E-39FE-4DC5-B0AA-E12A6A8634B9

On those stressful days I have most likely not done what I had wanted to do that day like clean or wash clothes for example. So I like to make a list of what I need to do the next day and think about how I could make the next day better.

  4. Clean Kitchen6EC207A9-627C-42F7-ADD1-C582B5860669

I know this may be a bit weird but, for me it works. Most likely my kitchen is a mess after a stressful day and I personally hate seeing a dirty kitchen with dirty dishes in the sink. So a clean kitchen=less stress.

  5. Pick a Show

E7BA9B83-CBBD-4D5E-A094-180A9896FA0A Then, I like to lay on the sofa with my husband and pick a show to watch. Lately we’ve been into the office and that 70’s show. We’ve watched all the seasons for each show already but that’s ok we love re-watching shows that we love like those. They never get old ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Prayer

Before going to bed I especially have to say a special prayer after a hard day. It helps me a lot to express myself to God and tell him how I feel and thank him for getting me through the day even if it was a bit harder than others.

Every mommy needs some time to herself even if it’s just for a couple of minutes. Find your favorite way to unwind after a stressful day whether its taking a bath, making lists, saying a prayer or cleaning your kitchen. Haha

Thank you for taking the time to read my favorite ways to unwind. Hope they help you find your favorite ways.

May Favorites 2017

I have a couple of monthly favorites, very random. Some food, beauty and essentials etc.

First, is something I need everyday being a mom to two toddlers is COFFEE!! haha ๐Ÿ™‚

Recently bought this one called WIDE AWAKE COFFEE CO. In the flavor Donut Shop Blend. It’s so good, perfect for first thing in the morning, not too strong just perfect for those busier days.

Find it here: Wide Awake Coffee Donut Shop Blend

Next, I got these chips for my kids because they looked like a healthier option for them. Since, I hate that feeling when were eating chips and don’t give them to them because they’re not good for them. They may not be totally “good” for them but they’re definitely a better option than buying Cheetos for them and I gotta say taste almost exactly like cheetos. They also have a bunch of different flavors and styles of chip. ๐Ÿ™‚

ย Find them here:Garden Veggie Straws, Cheddar Cheese, 7 Ounce (Pack of 12)

Then, I discovered these actually a couple of months ago, I don’t use them every time I wash because they’re a bit pricier. So I like to treasure them as much as possible. But, I do use them for those dirtier loads that my kids leave every once in a while. Every time I use these to wash our clothes, the clothes comes out ten times fresher and cleaner.

Find them here: Tide PODS Plus Febreze Laundry Detergent

Now, to beauty products. I’ve been loving this setting spray by NYX. I have oily skin, so I love that when I am all done putting on my makeup or even after a couple of hours of wearing my makeup I can spray this on and it’ll leave my makeup matte and not shiny at all.

Find it here: NYX Cosmetics Make Up Setting Spray

I’ve been loving this BB Creme by Maybelline this month. It’s so light, and easy to wear.ย  I put it on for those days where I need some makeup but don’t want a lot. It feels so light on the skin and looks great.

Find it here: Maybelline New York Dream Pure BB Cream

Next, I love these bows for my daughter by Little Poppy Co. They’re so adorable these are Mays Monthly Bows but they have a ton of different bows on their site and come out with new cute ones every month. They’re exactly how I love bows for her. Her hair is really silky and straight so some bows don’t stay too long on her hair but these do. They recently added a grip on each bow so that they hold in their hair and it has helped a lot!

They have a monthly subscription of $11.99, and get 3 super cute bows every month!

Last but not least, my husband bought this pen to help improve our handwriting and also because I want to try to do Calligraphy. We have been really enjoying it. It changes the way of how you write it’s so smooth and easy to write with. Just a placing the pen on your paper, no pressure at all and you write the nicest, easiest you can write. Can’t wait to practice more with it.

Find it here: Pilot Metropolitan Collection Fountain Pen

There you have it My May Favorites for 2017 ๐Ÿ™‚

This Post is not sponsored at all. These are my honest, true opinion. Hope you enjoyed!

What we did Memorial Day

Monday May 29th, 2017

Memorial Day

We decided to go to a park and have a barbecue with family. They recently opened a splash pad nearby, we had Noah’s birthday party last year here and loved it.

Canyon Hills Splash Pad.

It was a bit hot so it was perfect, we got there and my husband played some soccer with the little ones then, we made some lunch . After lunch Noah wanted to play at the play ground, it was surprisingly not as full as we expected.

I have to share a small story of what happened with our Noah.

My sister in law and I were watching the little ones as they were trying to sneak there way towards the playground.

When a woman and her son were walking passed us, she called to her son and said “Noah come over here!!”. we noticed that Noah heard her.

A couple minutes passed by and Noah came to me. He said “Mom, a lady called me!” I said “Oh ya?, who?” and He said ” That one!” I said ” What did she say?” He said “She said Noah come over here!” and I asked him “What did you say?” He said “I said I don’t want to!!” Hahaha too funny!

Very happy that he said that and didn’t follow a stranger. ๐Ÿ™‚

After, the kids played for a while at the playground they decided they wanted to play at the splash pad a bit more. Noah took a little convincing to get in and Lydia she didn’t want to get in at all and just watch. Although she did get a bit wet, there was no getting away from that. Hahaha ๐Ÿ™‚

Once they were done with that we went back to change and each ate a hotdog and were really cranky since we were at the park most of the day with no nap and more play than most days. But they were both so dirty so me and my husband tried our best to keep them awake on the ride home so that we can take them a bath and then to bed.

After a nice bath, we put them in there pajamas, said a prayer and both were out in less than 10 minutes.

Then, a shower for mommy and clean up after our long and fun weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for reading!

Stay tuned I’ll be posting more this week, about beauty and maybe even a recipe!

Morning Routine of a Stay at Home Mom

So this week I have been trying to start my mornings at 7:00am so that I can make my husband breakfast or lunch.

Today, I actually woke up around 7:20am to this outside our door. ๐Ÿ™‚ IMG_2508

First, I’ll give them a cup of milk to hold them off while I make breakfast and, then I’ll turn on the laptop. My husband does pest control and sometimes he has his stops printed out at home. While he’s getting ready for work I try to print them out for him. img_2513.jpgWhile I was printing his paperwork, I started on breakfast. Today I made one of Noah’s favorites, Potatoes with Eggs or like he says “Pantayos”. Lol

Lydia finished all her fruit first and struggled to finish her potatoes with eggs, and Noah was opposite he finished his potatoes first and struggled to finish his fruit. Its funny how that is, they always eat opposite. Lydia would rather have fruits or veggies than meat or in this case potatoes with eggs and Noah would have anything over fruit and veggies. Hahaha

As they were finishing up daddy had to leave for work.

After finishing up our breakfast I’ll clean up the kitchen and wash our dishes that got dirty. While I’m cleaning up, I’ll either watch a YouTube video or some music and today it was music. This was my choice. ๐Ÿ™‚

Time to head to the bedroom and make our bed. I’ve got to make the bed most days, I’ve always grown up with that habit. My mom would say if your bed is made it helps make the room look clean and, its true. Now, if I don’t make our bed I’m so uncomfortable for that day because our room looks dirty.

On a good day when the kids are entertained and today they seemed pretty entertained in the toy room. I like to listen to a devotional and read along with it.

Today it was about “What is our Hope in Life? “ A lot of us are distraught and want to be hopeless because of how this world is or because of how you are. So we grow Hopeless but, Our only Hope comes because the power of sin has been broken. Christ came to rescue us. He’s the one that has broken sins power. He’s what give us Hope in Life. We have hope because of what Christ did for us. Trust him as he speaks to you.

While I was finishing up, both Noah and Lydia came to my room and wanted attention. So, while I was finishing I gave them some water and told them to wait a little bit. Once, I finished I went into the toy room and saw this and this is just a picture of a small piece of the room.

So I put some of there favorite Disney music on, and put them to clean obviously I helped them. Haha

After an hour we finally organized and cleaned there toy room. Even put some toys into a donation pile. Woohoo! Lets see how long it’ll last. ๐Ÿ™‚

Next, there bedroom to make there beds and put some clothes to hang and clean up a little bit.

Now to get them dressed and start on some lunch.

While I made lunch, Noah wanted to play with his play-doh. So I set up this Mickey Mouse matt on our table and let them make what they want while I made lunch.

Today I made them some ABC soup, so while that finished cooking I did some braids on Lydia’s hair after, they then started to get a little bit inpatient so I put a small ice cub in each of there bowls so that it would cool down faster.

Noah has never been a big fan of any sort of soup so it took him a little bit longer than Lydia but, Lydia loved it.

So that was my busy morning, some mornings it goes by smoothly and some are harder than others, But love every second of it.

Now, time to prepare dinner for when daddy gets home…

Thank you for taking the time to read my day ๐Ÿ™‚

    Oliver Finds His Way

Written By Phyllis Root & Illustrated by Christopher Denise

Just In Case You Ever Wonder

By Max Lucado Illustrated by Toni GoffeIMG_5567-1

This book definitely has to be one of my favorites to read to them, they don’t pay that much attention because its more of a heart felt book. But, everything it says is so touching. It says how special they are; how you’ll always be there for them; and most importantly how special they are to God. Its a book that I’ll always like to keep and pass on to someone very special.

Bedtime Prayers

By Bonnie Rickner Jensen & Illustrated by Julie Sawyer Phillips

This book is the perfect book to read right before bed, its very short and sweet. Each page is a different prayer for little ones and the pictures are so sweet. My son will even sometimes repeat after me when I read it to them.

God Gave Us You

By Lisa Tawn Bergren & Art by Laura J. Bryant

This book is so cute, the momma polar bear tucks the baby polar bear in and explains how happy herself and the poppa were to have him. A wonderful bedtime story to read to your little ones. My babies love it, and I try to also explain that they were once babies and mommy and daddy were so excited when God gave them to us. Definitely a favorite!

There they are my top 5 favorite books to read to my little ones, highly recommended. Most nights I love starting off with some fun/silly books and ending with some calm and sweet books. I think all of these are perfect for that. Hope you enjoy ๐Ÿ™‚
